The Big Thing in the Mitten
I was walking through the woods on my way to my friend's house. Just then, I
saw a little white mitten camouflaged in the freshly fallen snow. I looked
cautiously in the mitten and saw a big dark brown furry predator. Its claws
were as sharp as the sharpest nails. When the strong animal looked at me, I
noticed his eyes were black and very scary. It was twice the size of a Saint
Bernard. The furry giant had humongous paws that were way bigger than my hands.
His ears were half circles sticking up on his huge head. I almost fainted when I
heard "Grrrrrrrr!" coming out of the mitten! Then I saw the jagged
