A Portrait of
Thomas Alva Edison
by Danny Co.

Thomas Alva Edison was born in Milan, Ohio on February 11, 1847. Tom asked a lot of questions. Once he wondered why chickens sit on their eggs. He sat on some eggs and they never hatched because he crushed them. One morning Tom was late for a train and he grabbed on to a bar at the back of the back of the train and pulled Tom up by his ear. That was the only thing he could reach and became deaf. Tom worked on the train for another three years. He printed Newspaper on the train. When he was older he became a telegraph operator. Later on Tom invented the electric light bulb. He died on October 18, 1931.
