Martin Luther King, Jr.
by Sandro

Martin Luther King, Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. Martin liked to play basketball, football and baseball with his friends. But one day when he was ten, two of his friends could not play with him because he was black and they were white. When Martin was older, he led protests and marches. One day in 1963 he gave his "I have a dream" speech. Martin Luther King, Jr. died on April 4, 1968 and on his grave stone are the words "Free at last, free at last, Thank God almighty, I'm Free at last!"
