In 1732, George was born. He liked to go fishing and boating and ride his horse when he was young. His favorite subject was math. When he was eleven, his dad died. He found his dad's tools and used them to map and survey land. He then found a job at the age of sixteen. From 1755 to 1758 he was Commander of the Virginia Militia. From 1775 to 1783 he was Commander in Chief of the Continental Army. In 1789 he was elected the 1st President of the United States. In 1792 he was reelected President. He ended his 2nd term as president in 1796. He died at his home in Mount Vernon, Virginia in 1799.
