China

There are many places to visit in China. For example Shanghai is the largest city in China with over 20 million people and it is located on the East China Sea. The city’s most famous site is the Bund. It has lots of entertainment like shopping, dining, cafes, and coffee shops and they are busiest in the evening. Another place to visit is the Yuyuan Garden. The garden is less than 5 acres long and was built more than 400 years ago during the Ming dynasty.

Another place to visit in China is Mt. Everest. It is the tallest mountain in the world. It is 29,035 feet high. The mountain is also 60 million years old. Over 4,000 people have tried to climb the mountain. However, 660 people have gotten to the peek but 140 people have died trying. This mountain is very dangerous, steep, and covered in ice and snow.

Also there is the Great Wall of China. It is 2,000 years old and stretches approximately 4,163 miles east to west. The wall was built originally in small pieces; it was not a great big wall. In 221 B.C. the emperor ordered that the walls be connected to form one long wall. The wall is made of hard dirt. The wall is now deteriorating because it is so old.

As you can see, all of those places are nice to visit like Shanghi is the largest city in China. Mt. Everest is the tallest mountain in the world. The great Wall is ancient and took years to be built.
