There are many places to visit in China. To start with Hong Kong
is one city you can visit. In Hong Kong people wear the same clothes
that we do. They also wear samfoo and cheongsam, a kind of Chinese
clothing. Another place that you visit is the Ocean Park. It has an
aquarium with 2,000 fish. Victoria Peak is a mountain where rich
people live.
In addition to Hong Kong you can also visit the
Himalaya Mountains. It is dangerous to climb because there are high
winds. Mount Everest is part of the Himalayas. It is the tallest
mountain in the world. It is 29,035 feet tall. The Himalaya
Mountains is very cold because if it’s high altitude.
Another reason to visit China is the Forbidden City. It is the
biggest palace in the world. The palace has 980 buildings and 8,707
rooms. It is 360 meters long and 750 meters wide. Most of the
Forbidden City is yellow. Yellow is an important color because it
represents the royal family. The royal library has a black roof.
This is because black symbolizes water. The Forbidden City was
originally built as home for the emperors. In 1949 it became open to
the public as a museum and in 2008 the Olympics will be held there.
In conclusion there are many places to visit in China. Ocean Park
in Hong Kong has a shark aquarium. The Himalaya mountain range has 8
of the tallest mountains. Lastly is the Forbidden City. It is a good
place to visit because it is the biggest palace in the world!
