It was a dark and breezy night when everybody was asleep. The brown house on Maple Street was taking off. There were only gigantic and bare trees left. The rest were knocked down. All of a sudden we heard a kind of scratchy and loud alien voice. It smelled like a type of space rocket fuel. I felt chills, the whole dark spooky night. I saw a giant shadow then it disappeared. I started biting my nails hard. Then I heard the loud noise again. I was so scared I went under my soft covers. Then I saw what it was! It was an alien. He had dark green skin and the alien climbed into the window. He didn't see me hiding but he had a tiny white space helmet on too. He also also had four fingers. Then he slowly walked in the hallway. I was home alone and I was scared. I thought that he was going to take our house into space. I got out of bed and followed the scary alien. Then he saw me he ran away. I was shocked! I thought I would be running! Instead he ran. The alien went in the chilly attic. I turned the bright light on. I saw it climb out the window and it ran to the house that was about to blast off. The house on Maple Street was a space ship! It got caught on a strong tree an alien stuck it's head out. The other alien waved by. I waved back. Then in a blink of an eye they went back to space. I wished that I could just wake up and say this was a dream. I found out it was!
