There are many places to visit in China. To
start with, Hong Kong is one city you can visit. The two languages
of China are English and Cantonese. Victoria Peak is a mountain in
the Western half of Hong Kong. Very rich people live there. There
are beautiful views of Hong Kong harbor and the surrounding islands.
Another fun place in Hong Kong is Ocean Park. The park has fourteen
rides, aquariums, and two roller coasters.
In addition to Hong Kong you can visit the Himalaya Mountains.
The Himalaya is the highest mountain range. Mount Everest is a part
of the Himalayas. Himalaya mean "houses of snow". The Himalaya is
about 1,500 miles long. Mt. Everest is 29,035 feet tall.
Another sight to see is the Forbidden City, which is located in
the heart of Beijing. The Forbidden City has been open to the public
as a museum since 1949. After the city was built it was home to 24
emperor’s from1421to 1911. Yellow is the symbol of the royal family,
it is the main color in the Forbidden City. Wnyuange, the royal
library, has a black roof. The Chinese believe that black stands for
water and can extinguish fires.
In conclusion, Hong Kong has beautiful views of Hong Kong harbor,
and the surrounding islands. The Himalayas are about 1,500 miles
long. Another place I like is Forbidden City it has been open as a
museum since 1949.
