The Third - Floor Bedroom
by Calista

I opened the window before I went to sleep at my house. Bam!, What was that? I asked myself well whatever it is it woke me up. Bam!, Maybe its a vicious beast. BAM! Why is it a dove? Maybe it was trying to get my attention. I see some of the birds on my wallpaper flying off. I heard a bird chirping softly in my room. When I woke up I smelled the scent of a dove's breath because it was opening it's mouth. I felt my heart pounding so hard and so fast. My wallpaper looks different. There was a bird missing from my wallpaper. I searched all over my room but I could not find the bird anywhere, I was confused. I packed my book bag for school When I got to school I had to take out my books and before I knew it, the dove flew out of my book bag. I was astonished by all the excitement of seeing a bird flying in the classroom. The time had arrived for the dove to leave because it was time for the birds to fly south. I took my last look at the bird and said, "I will never forget you," and the dove flew away.
