people live in the city. Also a cool site to see is the Forbidden
City. It took 16 years and over 1 million workers to build it for
the emperors. The palace complex is located in the heart of Beijing.
One other reason you should go to Beijing is to go to the Beijing
Zoo that is known for panda’s. The Beijing Zoo used to be called,
"The Garden of Ten Thousand Animals". The zoo has over 7,000
creatures and 600 different specials.
Another reason you should go to China is to see Mt. Everest. Mt.
Everest is located in a part of the great Himalayan Mountain Range.
It is 29,035 feet high. Mount Everest is the tallest mountain in the
world. In addition, Mount Everest is 60 million years old. Mt.
Everest is a symbol of challenge, beauty, and human aspiration. Over
4,000 people have tried to climb to the top.
