There are many places to visit in China. Shanghai is the largest
city in China with a population of 20 million and it is located on
the country’s east coast. Shanghai is also China’s busiest port and
in 2005 it became the world’s largest cargo port as well. The city’s
most famous site is the Bund, a scenic one mile road running along
the river’s west bank. The Yuyuan Garden has one of the heaviest
rocks and it is called the Jade Rock. It weighs 5 tons and it was
carried from Tia Lake back to the garden.
Another reason to visit China is to visit Tibet. It is located in
China. Tibet is 500,000 square miles. Tibet has many rivers called
the Yangtze river and the river Mekong. . The Dalai Lama lives in a
palace named Potala Palace. It is still his house, but he is in
exile.
The Forbidden City is in Beijing it is the largest place in the
world and it took 16 years to build the city. The color of the
Forbidden City is yellow and the yellow means the symbol of the
royal family. The Forbidden City was made for the emperors.
In conclusion China is a good place to visit because it has the
Forbidden City, Shanghai, and Tibet. The Forbidden City is now a
museum that you can visit. Shanghai is the world’s largest port and
Tibet has one of the highest regions in the world.
