"She’s as swift as the dolphins in the sea." That’s what Captain Charles McMason says of his new beauty, the Magnolia. She will be taking her maiden voyage on February 4th, and is almost ready for christening.

The Magnolia will be starting her first voyage to the New York port with supplies for the mother country of Great Britain. She will be christened by the captain’s wife Mrs. Marie McMason who will accompany him on the voyage.

On July 22nd of this very year, a ship will set sail. "The Tumbleweed is the best ship known to man," according to the captain of the ship. The Tumbleweed will be christened by the captain’s youngest daughter. His youngest daughter, Anne attends St. Mary’s School. She is five years old. Captain Luke Maguier also has five other children. So don’t miss it, come on July 22nd and see if little Anne is a natural at christening.

This ship is 450 metric tons which is pretty big. It is being produced by the St. Martin’s Shipyard.
