My Kente
Cloth

We read The Spider Weaver. The story took place in Ghana, Africa a long time ago. It was a story about a spider that was spinning a beautiful web and two weavers who were looking for food in the jungle. They spotted a beautiful web and the spider who made it taught them to make kente cloth. My kente cloth is made of dark and light colors. I used straight lines to make diamonds on my cloth. When I was doing my lines, it looked liked a mountain. My teacher says it is beautiful!
