November is a Special Time of Year
by Mackenzie

November is a special time of year. Trees change their leaves, weather changes and the Earth gets quiet.

Trees change their leaves. The leaves change to different colors and they fall down. When you rake them up it is fun to jump into the pile.

Weather changes a lot. Some days are colder. They can be windy, gray or sunny. We start to wear jackets and keep warm by the fireplace.

The Earth becomes more quiet. Some animals are silent when they hibernate. But you can hear leaves go "Crunch!" under your feet.

As you can see, November is a special time of year because the leaves and weather are changing, and the Earth becomes quiet.
