Bring Home a Wave
By Jahvon
It was a bright and sunny day. I was taking the shortcut along the beach to go home after picking coconuts when an unusually fast wave came near me. I ran across the light brown sand in the heat of the yellow sun. Then I had an idea. I threw all of the coconuts out of the plastic bag and caught the wave and brought it to my house. I put it on the floor in my room. I went to eat dinner. When I got back everything was destroyed.
The lamp that was on my dresser was now on the floor broken into pieces. My computer got wet and the wires were fried. My room was very messy and everything was soaked. I opened the window in my bedroom to make everything dry faster, but the wave got out of the window. He wanted to destroy the town! I knew that I had to save the town. I followed the wave to town on my bike, but I took a shortcut to cut him off. I put a bucket in front of him and told him, "Hey, if you get in my bucket I'll take you to a bigger city." I covered the bucket with a towel so the wave couldn't see where we were going. I got on my bike and started riding. What the wave didn't know was that we weren't really going to a bigger city.
When I got to the beach I took off the towel and threw him back into the ocean. I was relieved when I let him go. Now the wave can't destroy anything ever again.
