My Life with The Wave
By Miranda

I went to North Carolina. I heard a lot of seagulls. When I got there I got my bathing suit and my boogie board. I heard a wave say, "If you’re an only child take me home." So I got a bucket as fast as I could but the sand was making my feet so hot. So I jumped to my house even though I wasn't an only child. The wave was bigger when I got back. It jumped in the bucket and I took it home. When I took it home the wave had a blast but I was drowning. But then he was sad because I was drowning. The wave leaked through the door and my parents got mad because everything was all wet. They told me I had to take him back. The next day I had to bring the wave back to the ocean. I missed the wave. Whenever I went to the beach it reminded me of the wave. My parents felt bad so the next day they surprised me by telling me I could go back and get the wave. So I went down to the beach and I felt squishy jelly fish touch my feet as I waded out to get the wave. It took three tries before I finally got the right wave. We went home and played together.
