China is a land filled with many beautiful places for you to
visit. One place you would want to visit in China is Beijing,
China’s capital. In Beijing you would want to see their zoo which is
famous for its panda’s and over 7,000 creatures and 600 different
types of animals. You should also go to the world’s largest public
square. It is called Tiananmen Square and can hold up to 1 million
people.
Another interesting place to visit is the Himalaya Mountains. Did
you know that these mountains are 125 to 250 miles wide and over 60
million years old? If you are up to the challenge, you may even want
to climb the world famous Mt. Everest. This is the tallest mountain
in the world. It is so tall that it reaches the jet stream. The
roads are very dangerous and the air is very thin. Did you know that
there is a rainforest located at the foot of the mountain? It rains
everyday and there are many unusual animals there.
Finally, before you leave China, you must see China’s Forbidden
City. This city is located in the heart of Beijing. It is called the
world’s largest palace and has 980 building with 8,707 rooms. This
palace was only for the royal family and common people were not
allowed. Since 1949, the Forbidden City is now a museum open to the
public.
So as you can see, you should visit China because it has many
wonderful places to see and explore like Beijing, the Forbidden City
and the beautiful Himalaya Mountains.
