There are a lot of interesting places in China. Some of them are Beijing, Mt. Everest and The Great Wall of China. To begin with, there’s Beijing. It is the capital of China. This city is located near the Great Wall. In Beijing, there is the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City has the biggest palace in the world. Another place in China is the Beijing Zoo. It contains giant pandas and other endangered animals.

Second there is Mt. Everest. Did you know it is the largest mountain in the world? Well it is! Scientists believe it to be 60 million years old. Many people climbed the enormous mountain but only 660 survived and 140 didn’t make it. You should visit this amazing place someday.

Finally there’s the Great Wall of China. It is the biggest man made wall in the world; in fact, you can even see it from space! The wall was built so nomads from Mongolia could not invade China. The Great Wall of China is 2,000 years old. That’s why the wall is shorter because people keep taking pieces of bricks with them. The Great Wall is 4,163 miles long from east to west. So if you go to China make sure to check out the Great Wall.
