Autumn Leaves

Autumn leaves look like big red and orange flower petals falling down on my head off  giant trees everywhere, usually in the woods.

It   smells like wet grass after a windy rain. The grass is very squishy under my feet. When I step into the grass ,my feet sink into it. They feel as rough as tree bark and sometimes as smooth as a stone.

When they fall off the almost bare trees ,they are dead and dry. It  sounds like me biting into a red juicy apple that is very crunchy. They are whimpering and rustling while kids are stepping on them where they are falling on the ground. I dream that I am running in the wind while leaves are blowing away from the trees.
