It was an experience of a lifetime! This is how the students in Mrs. Occhicone’s class felt when they had the honor of going to Stone Barns and meeting the first lady, Michelle Obama, on September 24, 2010. Our class was selected to participate in the Farm to Table program and was able to show Mrs. Obama, as well as other first ladies from around the world, how we grow, prepare, and cook farm fresh food. Mrs. Obama was very impressed with what we knew and were able to do. We will always remember that remarkable day! |
