Whoosh, whoosh. I heard a sound as I was walking through a cornfield on a golden, sunny, autumn day. I saw a shadowy figure in the distance. I went closer to see what it was. There was a figure shaped like a man waving at me with his floppy arms. He was as tall as a stalk of corn. I stared at his blue, orange, and red overalls with patches. I smiled when I noticed the red apple shoes with brown shoelaces on his feet. His hat looked like a wizard's hat, short and pointy. The pumpkin head reminded me of a basketball. His eyes were as black and white as a zebra and his small triangle nose was red and that made him look cold. He was holding an orange pumpkin on top. I was surprised to see it was only a scarecrow!
