Whoosh, whoosh. I heard a sound as I was walking through the cornfield on a golden, sunny autumn day. Suddenly I heard a "woah!" I looked around and I saw a figure of a man prancing around shoving all the cornstalks out of his way. But they seemed to come right back at him. I was surprised to see a heart on his shirt that was sticking out. The heart was nearly new. On his body was a red and black shirt. It was the kind of red you get when you smash a red berry. Covering his shirt was a pair of old denim overalls the color of the ocean. The pitchfork he was holding looked like it had rot many years ago. His faded nose was made out of red cloth. His smiling mouth was stitched on with lots of xs. I noticed he was wearing brown boots with worn out laces. I peered at his floppy straw hat sitting so carefully on his head. I looked closely at his black button eyes. They shone in the moonlight. It was a scarecrow!
