The Punch Bowl
It feels cool and smooth.
When you tap it, it rings. It is round and big and it is 146 years old. This
bowl was one of my parents wedding presents. My mom and dad where married 16
years ago and the punch bowl traveled from house to house. They never packed the
bowl but carried it to each new home on my mom's lap. The punch bowl is always
out and you can always see the hand - painted flowers and the golden edges from
anywhere in the room. I think the instrument I would associate with the bowl is
a triangle. If this bowl ever became mine I would treasure it. I hope my
daughter will love it as much as I did!
