My Life with a Wave
by Chloe

Shhhh, shhhh, as the waves slowly washed up to the shore I

Walked along the beach and my toes got stuck. All of a sudden I caught a glimpse of a wave, a beautiful wave. "Oh I wish I could keep it!" I said to myself. It was peacock blue with white edges. So I decided to keep it!

"But wait!" I said, "How can I take it home?" That was the only problem. Would mom understand? All of a sudden I had an idea-I would take a picture of the wave. I ran and grabbed the camera. Click, Clack. I took a picture. I had another idea. I got a pail and caught the wave. I was overjoyed. "Chloe, it's time to go," my mom called. I brought the pail and the picture and went home with both of them.

After a few days I thought the wave was lonely. I told my mom I wanted to go to the beach. We went back and as soon as I got there, I ran to the ocean and dumped the wave back in the water. I slowly walked up and built a sandcastle.
