My Life with Wave
By Lia

When I went to the beach the waves were so big I couldn't jump over them. The sand was gushy and went between my toes. People bought toys for babies and they bought stuff for their kids. It smelled like salty water and there was a little cave where you can buy beach towels, shirts, drinks, and stuff to eat like French fries, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and little bottles of ketchup. I wanted to bring the wave home with me, but it was water so I couldn't.

My mom said, "You have a problem and you have to find a solution." I had to think about a solution to this problem. I thought and thought, but I didn't have a solution to the problem. I was not going to give up, I said to myself. I looked around at the seagulls, but I didn't get a solution. I ran to my mom and said I want to bring this wave home but I can't because it's water. She said, "Wherever there's a problem, there's a solution. Maybe you can bring a bottle to the beach and bring the wave home in the bottle. There's always a solution to your problem, if you ask for help."
