One day Walter saw something big, bumpy and round under his rug. At first, Walter wasn't that scared but two weeks passed and it happened again. This time he was a little more scared and thought it was a rat. He finally picked up a corner of the huge rug and didn't see anything. "What could it be?" he thought to himself. He put down the rug and walked away.
Walter went to call the police but they didn't see the bump. "But it's right there, how could you not it see it?" Walter shouted. Soon the police left and Walter was alone with the thing. Walter thought for a while. He took off his glasses and didn't see it. He put on his glasses and saw the lump. "Wow, magic glasses," he thought.
Walter picked up the rug again and still didn't see it. He got frustrated that he couldn't see anything under the rug, so he tried to destroy the glasses. He picked up a hammer and suddenly a ghost appeared and said, "Wait! Don't destroy the glasses or I will disappear."
"Why did you do this?" asked Walter.
"I don't know, but please don't break them, please." Walter picked up the hammer and smashed the glasses. In a blink of an eye, the ghost vanished and he never saw the lump again.
