When I grow up...
by August
When I grow up I'd like to be a professional soccer player. First, you get a lot of exercise. Soccer is good for your health. You are always running so you are always getting faster. Kicking the ball makes your legs get stronger.
Also you need sportsmanship. In soccer if you don't practice teamwork you will lose games because you won't be working together. Confidence makes you believe you can win. Self discipline makes you work harder and helps you win.
In addition, being a good player is important. Knowing where and when to pass helps your team play better. Staying in your wing (part) of the field helps you play offense or defense. Goalie is surely one of the most important positions because can save the ball.
So you can see playing soccer is good exercise. On the other hand sportsmanship is also as important as winning. Being a good player can mean you can run fast or pass quick but I think it means to have sportsmanship and that's why I would like to be a pro soccer player.
