The Uninvited Guest
by Jon
Creek, creek, I heard on my way down the stairs. All of the sudden my heart was pounding, I was sure I saw the doorknob turn. I heard footsteps and talking. I smelled rotting eggs. I felt a cold breeze and goose bumps crawling up my arms. I saw the doorknob turn. I looked outside, no one was there. Suddenly, the lights turned off, I tried to turn them back on but they did not work. There in the corner of the room stood a guy. I was shocked! A short fat man named Albert opened the basement door and walked into my basement. He had a flowing white robe, long black hair. He said, "They're coming." Suddenly, Albert disappeared, I went back upstairs. These tall people wearing leather jackets and jeans were in my house. They tied me to a chair. Suddenly, the door swung open and Albert was there. He said funny words and the people disappeared. Albert said, "You should have believed me." I said, "Who were those people? Albert called them the unknown guests I asked why they came here. Albert told me that they were trying to capture me. They wanted to force me to play on their soccer team. I was the forward they needed! Thanks goodness Albert was here. Albert walked out under his white robe was a fancier one. I asked what kind of robe is that, my wizard one he said.
