The kids had been inside working all day. They were bored with working. They had to read when their work was done. They were wanting to have fun and wishing to play. They had to study for their test. Finally, their teacher said,"Playtime!"

The boys were running around playing soccer and they got really dirty. They also played baseball. They hit homers and got base hits.

The girls played freeze tag and the people who were tagged had to freeze. The girls also played duck, duck, goose. They sat in a circle and the person who got tagged had to be in the middle.

The kids had to go and eat, talking to each other all the while they were having lunch. They ate sandwiches and shared their snacks. They yelled and screamed, laughed and giggled. They were finished with lunch and had to get on the bus and go home. It had been a busy day.

A Day at the Barn
By Gabe

It was 1887 and we were celebrating Christmas at the Jackson’s house. We ere eating turkey, salad, stuffing, etc. I as eating all the delicious food when I hear it-----"Bedtime!" my dad, Bill said.

"Whaaaaa?" I answered, "it’s only 8:45 p.m."

"You take that back before you get punished," my dad said.

"Fine!" I replied while slamming the door.

The next morning, I got up and began playing games with my cousins, Bill Sr., Tyler, Bret and Skip. They were playing Toss Ball which is a game where you guess how far you can throw the ball and see whose guess is correct.

At night, everyone had dinner and went to bed. It had been a long day and I was surely tired!

Crack the Whip
by Taylor

Tom, Pat and Tal were brothers and sister. Tom’s birthday was coming and he was planning on inviting his friends to his birthday party.

On the morning of the birthday, Tom got a new jacket and hat. "Tom, breakfast is ready," said his mom. Tom ran quickly to the table.

"YUM! Buttermilk pancakes with rich maple syrup," said Tom.

"Tom, Matthew Steven and John are here," said Mom. Tom and his friends decided to play crack the whip. Matthew and John decided to go mud sliding. So they did.

They had a lot of fun. "Cake time," said Mom.

"Ice cream cake!" said Tal.

"And sprinkles," said Matthew.

They gobbled it up and yelled "Thank you for the party!"
