Whiskers

At one time, back in 1805, a woman's husband died of cancer. The woman, who was named Laurie, was very lonely. Laurie wanted someone to keep her company. Then Laurie had an idea. She would go to the pet store and get a pet. Laurie looked around for hours and finally she saw a beautiful cat. She wanted it and she got it!

She brought the cat home and she enjoyed having its company. She named it Whiskers because it had such long whiskers. Laurie was hardly ever lonely anymore because she loved the cat and the cat loved her.
