The Funnel weaver spiders have about 500 eggs in their egg sacs and their funnel webs are held by strings of silk. They catch their food by weaving their funnel shaped web in the grass. The spiders stay at the bottom of the hole. Then they bite the insect like every spider does. They are brown and their habitat is grassy places. They have very long spinnerets that are easy to see, the eyes are small, and they are running upright on their funnel, rather than hanging upside down as most of the web using spiders do.  The legs are relatively long.
