Physical Education Curriculum: Students are exposed to the world of the physical education twice per week. Aerobic activity, variety of sports, and some level of competition are available through the physical education program. Primary level grades spend a considerable amount of time on movement education and basic coordination. The development of the skills needed to run, jump, develop hand-eye, and foot-eye coordination are all essential parts of the program. In addition, students have the opportunity during noon recess to compete in an intramural program, which is sport based. Our seventh and eighth grade students have the opportunity to compete after school in interscholastic sports.
Developing physically fit students who enjoy participating in different types of activities is the goal of our program.
