"Neigh, neigh!" I heard as I walked quickly toward the horses’ pen at Stone Barns. I couldn’t believe the sight of the giant horse and the two smaller ponies. I took a deep breath and I smelled the fresh scent of green grass and dried hay. When I gently touched the big hooved mammal, I was surprised by the softness of its brown hair. The color of the beautiful beast reminded me of hot chocolate.
