It was Louis's birthday and Uncle McAllister came and gave Louis a present. Louis thought it looked very funny for a rock. When Louis looked very closely he saw a crack. Louis's parents were worried about what would appear in the crack. Everybody waited a second. Finally a bird appeared. Louis's parents thought, "What could go wrong with a tiny bird?" A couple of months later the bird grew bigger and bigger. When Louis tried to play ball, that was a mistake. Mayor Zegarelli said, "If you can't keep that bird out of trouble YOU will be in trouble." Louis didn't know what to do. He thought for a second. He remembered that he still had some money but not enough to buy the indoor zoo. On the way home, Louis saw Brenda. Louis told Brenda his problem. Brenda told Louis to meet her at the park. So Louis did. By the time Louis was there Brenda already had her hands full with money. Louis bought the indoor zoo. A year went by. Louis's birthday is tomorrow. Meanwhile, Uncle McAllister found a cool turtle. He went to Louis's house and gave it to Louis. Let's see if he knows any tricks…Aaaa, no.
