A Family Vacation Disaster
I went on vacation by the shore.
My mom says it's great, I say it's a bore,
A disastrous vacation by the shore!
I will tell you why it is a bore.
I forgot to put on suntan lotion
And now I am red.
My little brother found a stick
And bonked me on the head!
My dad flew out because he had leeches.
My mom likes the porch and not the beaches.
My brother got toys when I got books.
My mom said the new baby-sitter must be Miss Cooks.
She stinks up the house with lobster stew.
She seems like a witch,
She calls soup … brew!
What a disastrous vacation by the shore!
