Tibet is in danger! The Dali Lama has to go to India to help the Tibetan people. He is lost. He needs your help to try to find his way there. Some of these are similes that Tibetan doctors use. In order to help him you must find all of the picture similes that are in the thangkas and in the pictures that we have made. You must also match the letters on the picture with the correct simile. For extra help to save Tibet you can color in the pictures.

 

Tibetan doctors are as cautious as cats. Can you find the cat? _______

 

Tibetan doctors tell the patient the illness and the diagnoses as if hoisting a flag on the top of a mountain. Can you find the flag at the top of the mountain? _______

 

Tibetan doctors must find the illness like a gull diving for fish. Can you find the gull diving for fish? _______

Tibetan doctors sometimes must prescribe a medicine to bring the disease out. It is compared to taming a wild horse. Can you find the wild horse? _______

If the disease is very serious the physician must act quickly and treat it by prescribing the four water therapies. This situation is compared to meeting your enemy in a narrow lane. Can you find the man meeting his enemy in a narrow lane? _______

Minor diseases are compared to going up a ladder one step at a time. Can you find the man walking up the ladder? _______

 

Individual diseases are treated separately without disturbing other humans. This is compared to destroying a warrior on the spot. Can you find the man destroying the warrior on the spot? _______
