Frog

There are a lot of frogs in the world. Frogs come in all colors. Most frogs begin their lives inside eggs underwater. The female lays their eggs in the water. Frog eggs are held together by jelly. Most frogs do very little to protect their babies. The egg hatches. It is called a tadpole. The tadpole breathes oxygen from the water. It has a long tail to help it swim. It takes about six weeks for it to become a frog. A frog eats bugs. It uses it's big sticky tongue to catch bugs. The bumps on frogs look like warts but they are actually poison glands. Male frogs have one or two pouches of skin called vocal sacs. Some frogs have poison in their skin.
