Mouse

A mouse is a small rodent related to squirrels, rats, and beavers. Rodents have large front teeth for gnawing. A female mouse has babies when it is 45 days old. Long ago old world mice came to the Americas. There are many kinds of mice flourishing on these continents. Field mice live in meadows. Their predators are hawks and owls.
