On January 11, 1861, Alabama left the union and then goes back June 25, 1868. Alabama made a new state constitution in 1901. Then a rocket research facility was founded in 1949 at Huntsville. It then became a center for the U.S. Space Program in the 1950’s. In 1955, African American people decided to have a boycott not to ride bus for equal rights. Economy is very important to Alabama. They manufacture very important things to different states. They manufacture fibers for clothes and painting products. They also make metal, iron, and lumber to make things different things. They also manufacture tires and paper for people to use.

Alabama also has Natural Resources that are above ground and below ground. The National Resources are pine forests and tree farming. Below ground are iron, steel, and coal, natural lime, clay, and marble.

Alabama also raises crops and animal. Some crops are peanuts, cotton, soybeans, corn, wheat, potatoes, oats, tobacco, and more. They also raise animals like chickens, cattle, and hogs.

People go to Space Camp because it is so fun. There state parks are really fun and interesting. The national forest is the Russell Cave it looks scary and far-out. Some special places to visit are the White House of the Confederacy in Montgomery. They also have shooting. I like aiming the most. Football is great too. I like throwing and catching. Automobile races are great. I like winning the races.
