Hawaii

I shipped my truck to Hawaii. When I got there someone put lei around my neck. The flowers smelled so good. I took my truck and went to Honolulu. That's the capital of Hawaii and that's where Waikiki Beach is. I decided to go surfing. There were some really big waves! Then I went to visit the USS Arizona National Memorial. It is a floating memorial above the remains of the U.S. battleship that was sunk by the Japanese in Pearl Harbor. That started World War II. Then, I stopped in at the Bishop Museum. It is an important historical museum. I took a plane to the Big Island of Hilo. There I saw the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Mauna Loa and Kilauea are both huge! Kilauea was erupting! Hawaii is a beautiful state! I'd love to come back someday.
