I took my truck to Kansas. When we first got there we
stopped at road side stand because we were hungry. They told us we were
near the place where Laura Ingalls Wilder grew up. We went to Kansas City.
It was wonderful, there were huge buildings. Next, we went to Topeka I
loved it because there were beautiful farms with a lot of hay. While I was
approaching Wichita I saw the western meadowlark, which is the state bird.
We also saw many sunflowers that are the state's flower. I never realized
Kansas was so flat and so beautiful!
