New Hampshire
by Anita

I drove my truck to New Hampshire. Did you know that New Hampshire was one of the first thirteen colonies and the first colony to declare its independence from Great Britain? New Hampshire's nickname is the granite state because it has so much granite. Most of New Hampshire is forests. All the snow in the winter makes for some great skiing. As I drove north I stopped in Concord, the state's capital. As I drove further north I came to the White Mountains. They have one mountain that people call "the Old Man of the Mountain because it looks like a man's face. New Hampshire is a great place for boating and fishing or just hiking in the mountains.! Maybe I should go see what Maine has to offer?
