I drove my truck to Virginia. The first thing I saw was Richmond Battlefield Park. I saw where the famous Civil War Battle took place. I went into the gift shop and saw some rifles from the war. Then I went to Virginia Beach. Virginia Beach in the largest city in the state. I had a great time at the beach. I went to see the homes of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. They looked very old. Did you know that Virginia was one of the first colonies? Virginia gave some of its land to form the capital of the country in Washington, D.C. Virginia has it all, it has mountains for skiing, beaching for surfing, and great history including places like Williamsburg. I crossed over Blue Ridge Mountains and Appalachian Mountains on my way west to West Virginia. Virginia sure was a great place to visit.
