Last week I visited Vermont. It has to be the most beautiful place in
the world. They call it the Green Mountain State. I loved the snow.
Luckily, Vermont has a ton of it. After I got to my hotel, I went
skiing. Vermont is famous for it's skiing. I enjoyed ice skating on Lake
Champlain, too. My family enjoyed our experience making maple syrup. The
maple syrup was delicious! I even saw how they make it. Vermont is also
famous for it's maple syrup. I also went to a quarry. They dig up
limestone, marble and granite. Later, they had a state fair. I ate snow
covered with maple syrup and an apple cider donut with a pickle. That is
a favorite of Vermont's people. I also ate Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
Did you know that Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream was invented in Vermont?
After, I found out that Montpelier is the only state capital without a
McDonald's. I'll never forget Vermont!
