Rebecca Lobo
Rebecca Lobo was
the first American professional basketball player in American
History. She is a center, weighs 190 lbs, was born on October
sixth, 1973, her height is 6'4", she graduated from the
University of Connecticut in 1995, and she lives in Southwick,
Massachusetts. She was a member of the 1993 USA Junior World
Championship Team, and averaged 7.7 ppg. and 4.4 rpg, and was a
member of the 1991 U.S. Olympic Festival East Team, averaged 6.5
ppg, 4.5 rpg. You probably think that is a lot already, but guess
what? It's not. There is a lot more to her life than just
basketball. Lobo and her mother are moonlighting as non-fiction
authors. They are writing a book called "The Home
Team." It is about her mother's battle with cancer and Lobo'
speedy rise to fame.
Don't you think that Lobo needs a nickname? Well, they already gave her one. They call her "Rookie." Lobo still is a person who enjoys spending time with her family and simply relaxing in the sun or talking with her friends.
If you want to meet her don't be shy.
