Picabo Street

Picabo Street was born on April 3, 1971 in Triumph, Idaho. She is famous skier in alpine and Super G. The Picabo Indian tribe lived near Triumph. He father, Stubby named her Picabo, which means, "Shining Waters." Her mom's name is Dee. They were hippies. She grew up on a small farm and the family raised their own food. They got their first TV when Picabo was thirteen.

Picabo joined the U.S. Ski Team when she was only 17 years old. She has won two World Championships and three U.S. Championships in skiing. She also won a silver medal in the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics in the Downhill. She has had several very serious knee injuries.
