  • Board of Education Meeting - February 14, 2019

    The Board of Education will hold a Regular Meeting on Thursday, February 14th at 6:30 p.m. in the School Library.  It is anticipated that the Board will immediately convene into Executive Session to discuss the employment history of a particular individual. The public session will resume at 7:30 p.m.

    The New York State Education Department is requiring that school districts develop an AIS policy for the 2016/2017 school year. This policy must include a second measure and must be uniformly applied to all grade levels. Please see attached for more details.

Dignity for All Students (DASA) - Overview

New York State’s Dignity for All Students Act (The Dignity Act) seeks to provide the State’s public elementary and secondary school students with a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harassment, and bullying on school property, a school bus and/or at a school function.

The Dignity Act was signed into law on September 13, 2010 and took effect on July 1, 2012.
