What would you do if your gym teacher asked you to bring your bathing suit to school?  "I would say, ok!" Willa annouced! 

The kindergarteners were one of the first groups to start the swim in gym unit on June 2nd.  The first activity was to learn about water safety.  "We talked about using our legs to kick," Matteo said.  "And using cupped hands to swim with your arms," Braelyn added.  

"Maybe paddle!" Leo exclaimed!  

Students were sad to get out of the pool and also shocked about how cold it felt when they got out!  

"I wanted to stay in the pool!" Ethan explained.  They look forward to their next swim in gym session.
